David and Iris Durosier
Féy Yo Chante translates from Haitian Kreyol to, "The leaves are singing." This is layered in meaning. A tree needs multiple leaves to be healthy, the wind moves through them making beautiful sounds. Féy (leaves) express themselves to us through the senses including sound, smells, and taste - which is also a kind of song.

Alone no single leaf can make the same music, together they sing and dance. Many leaves become what we know
to be the tree. The roots are the history and connection to the earth.

Féy Yo Chante is also a place to come together and collaborate, representing a community with many branches.
Together David and Iris collaborate, integrating music, movement, and herbal principles creating a catalyst for healing and empowerment.

David is from Haiti where he learned and taught Haitian folklore, dance, drumming, and singing. He is a talented teacher and performer. Music and dance is his life's work.

Iris was born in Southern Oregon in the mountains. She was raised without electricity or running water, resulting in a deep connection to nature, especially plants. This is expressed through perfumed herbal waters, and wildcrafting.

Together they blend their talents and energy, in an effort to share with others. Collaborations and joint offerings will occasionally be offered.
